BAT HOUSE: Many people do not understand the value of bats to the planet's ecosystem. For example, they eat mosquitoes and other pests as well as pollinate and disperse seeds for numerous plants. SCREECH OWL AND AMERICAN KESTREL:  This birdhouse is sized to accommodate the eastern screech owl, the western screech owl and the American Kestrel. The birdhouse is built with 1" cedar and assembled with rust-proof screws. A bag of wood chips (to cover the floor of the nestbox to a depth of 3 inches) is included.
